So my blocks are finally dry enough to get stabilized. Could someone give me tips on how I should ship the wood? Is there certain ways to ship to keep from any moisture getting in or anything?
I was going to just wrap it all up in either newspaper, or paper towels, then pack in some cotton scrap material I get from work to keep it tight.

Also, make sure your meter is calibrated (if possible) to the specific gravity of the species you are measuring or your results can be way off.

Yep, seal in ziplock bags, and use a "Regional Priority" box for shipping. Limited to 20lb (or 15 depending on box) per box, but a lot less expensive postage than normal priority mail boxes.

My work has a moisture meter that I used. All tested around 6% moisture. K&G says anything under 9%. I'm going to have them double check since they will do that for free.

So the only address I see on K&Gs website is a PO box. Do I ship to there? That seems strange.

Is this the same wood that was 12 and 18% 2 weeks ago?

Yes, I actually put them in a toaster oven on 150* with the door cracked for an hour every day. No warping or visual cracking so. :o

I asked K&G to double check the moisture for me and if needed they offer to dry them for you for a small fee. I figured now I'm in no rush for them so, I may as well ship to them and let the people who know what theyre doing handle it.
