@thegaymanway how is this knife fake? You must be a shirogorov expert with your high feedback rating of three. And rofl, really? What are you 12?

I understand that too but if you could replicate a knife then you can't replicate a certificate? I have more expensive customs that don't come with coa doesn't mean they're fake. I got this in a trade and didn't think to ask or it didn't come with one.

Rofl. No one is going to buy this fake ass Shiro.

You're clearly thinking that's the fake Chinese one, but you missed some key details, and probably cost this guy a sale unnecessarily.

1. Older Shirogorovs have a set screw on the lock side of the pivot, and the Chinese one modeled after it does not. The knife in the photo has this screw.

2. Chinese model has a black G10 backspacer. This one appears to be Titanium.

3. The Chinese model's G10 doesn't have such well defined texturing. The shade of blue is different as well - and I have owned Shirogorovs with black/blue G10.

4. The Chinese model has a brushed steel frame. The knife in the photos appears to have Shirogorov's stonewashed Titanium, as it should.

I believe very strongly that this is a real Shirogorov F3...probably 2011-2012 model, and I'll put my Shirogorov collection and knowledge of key details like that up against just about anyone on this forum....you owe the guy an apology, IMO.

Not taking sides, but it may help if you would/could post the certificate of authenticity. . .

That's not a certificate of authenticity. It's a piece of paper that tells Russian officials that that particular model of knife is approved by law. I had to have the exact same certificate for a ZT0454 that I shipped to a friend of mine in Russia. I also have a small collection of Cheburkov knives (another Russian maker) that came with the same type of certificate. It has nothing to do with Shirogorov, and proves nothing - anyone with a copier and scissors could make one.

I don't know enough about Shirogorov knives to add anything useful to this post, BUT I agree that this dispute and the accusation should have been done one-to-one (private message/email) instead of hijacking the sales post.

Wow!!! Thank you so much knifehoarder!!! Som type of knife community, just when I lost hope in members you shine the light on me. The under 1k price range of knives is the hardest we to sell, people want everything for nothing and always assume or bash sellers for no apparent reason. Funny thing is mqhbca contacted me about the knife and didn't mention anything about the coa and this today. So many trolls

]Nsilvia, I was not trolling your post. I simply mentioned the COA as a means to help you prove your position. I was not accusing you of ANYTHING. In fact, I retracted my suggestion to clean out any hint of impropriety.

Thegermanway should receive ban for such b......t talking in other member sale thread.

Again, it's NOT a COA. They don't even bother to include one with their $2,000+ custom knives that are shipped to US knife retailers.

In his defense, there is an inexpensive Chinese clone with blue/black G10 and Cronidur 30 blade markings (which is really 9CR18MOV) that costs $40 and they're everywhere right now. I have only seen a real F3 in this configuration a few times. He was being observant...just too hasty to judge.
