Shirogorov appreciation thread

Just in time! Action is faster than the 95T.

Favorite angle. The blade goes on forever like a stiletto on a woman.

I've got a question for Shirogonov 95T owners. Is there a substantial difference in the stock 95t and the "Custom Division" 95T's to justify its higher price?

I own the plain 95 custom division and I think it is worth the extra price. It is smoother than the non customs I've handled. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I also think the customs are lighter due to the inside of the handles being milled. Plus the polished flats on the blade just look cool.

I have a couple and am anxiously waiting for a couple more to reach me. I love the simplicity and manufacturing qualify of these knives.

On the Custom Division F95 the blade is thinner and inside of the handle milled out so overall package is lighter yet same cutting capability. A little extra mill work on the jimping and polished flats. Also I believe all CD uses single row roller bearings SRRBS. They make a nicer lock sound :)

Very special knives, congrats EXFive. Your name reminds me of X5 from Sig Sauer.

I have the same 111 as the OP and I carry and use the heck out of it. IMHO, it's the best bang for that buck on the market.

Just bought a 95t in M390 off a forum member! I'm very stoked!! Double the most money I've spent on a knife so far. A little troubling but I'm very excited! Watched a video of the action and smoothness and had to do it! My Slysz Bowie is the highest level of knifery I've bargained for thus far. Thought I'd skip CRK and head right for a Shiro!! Been eying the 95 for years. Stoked to finally pull the trigger!!

Just got my first, a F95 in Elmax.

Everything they say is true. This is going to get a lot of pocket time.

I got my first Shiro about 6 months ago and honestly haven't put another knife in my pocket since. My first was a f95t in m390 and i got a hati in s35vn about two weeks later because I was so impressed. I actually carry the hati the most and absolutely love the action of the washers... the bearings on the 95 are ridiculously smooth and fast but there is just something about the washers that I love. I really don't even have much desire to get any other folders (except for a f3... and maybe a 111). It's really a perfect design for me. Very ergonomic, perfect size for me that carries quite easily, and the ffg slices awesome. These knives are made to be used and engineered as such.

F3 in S30V rolling on SRBS. Micarta version weighs 4.89 oz vs 5.34 oz - F95T. OD green G10 backspacer.

If that is the look you are going for...then you owe it to yourself to get one of the 110B... just as long (ok technically 1mm shorter) but less wide
At the risk of sounding weird.. it borders on "erotic". Stiletto! :) :)
Don't get me wrong.. Luv my 111s too. Just different beasts.

Shirogorov Knives speak to me like no other... I am currently in that process of coming to terms with the money I'm going to have to spend...

god damn australian dollar :(

Really wish they would produce a 3" model or even 3.25". Something to complement my small seb would be real nice.

Shirogorv Neon flipper has a 3.25" blade but not enough of them are made. Additionally, I wish they'd just make one with a 3" blade.

Ah yes, just noticed the Neon.... then the price ha!

Would be nice if they made a 95T in a 3".

I hope to be able to contribute to this thread one day.

The 95 custom division looks pretty amazing.
