Does Shirogorov really have both 3.75 inch and 4 inch blade lengths? Or is this the same length measured differently?

What are the 2015 models and how do they differ?

What model has the shortest blade length?

Main models are 95 and F3 which have 3.75" blade lengths, flat grind and the smoothest bearings flippers.

There are various other models that I don't know much about: Hati, Cannabis, Tabargan, 110, 111.

Usually, a model number with just digits designates the blade length in millimeters.

I don't think they have a blade length shorter than 3.75".

Ram is correct. The numbers in the models correlate to blade length in millimeters. The F3 (Flipper 3) and Hati are just variants of the full titanium Flipper 95 platform.

The Flipper 95 does have a 3.75" blade, but is proportioned much like a 3.5" bladed knife. It's a comparable size to the ZT0562, once you get past blade length.

Examples...
Flipper 95 (includes Hati and F3) - 95mm
111 - 111mm
110 - 110mm
Tabargan 100 - 100mm
Tabargan/Jerboa 95 - 95mm

The Neon, their newest flipper, has a shorter blade - I believe closer to 3.5" in length (you can probably find out for sure with a Google search, but close enough for our sake). Good luck finding one for sale, though...and even better luck being able to justify the price. :-)

If you want to see what Shirogorov is all about, get a newer model Flipper 95 or F3 on single row bearings. It's pretty much the finest production knife ever made, in my humble opinion.

Good information, fellas - thanks!

So the 95 is really 3.75 inches, not 4 inches?

95, f3, and hati are all 3.75"

They are essentially different configurations of the same knife.

95= is full ti can be had on washers, srbs, or mrbs,
hati=can be either G10 or CF on presentation side titanium frame lock on the other and runs on washers
F3= titanium liner lock. Scales are either CF or G10 can be had on washers, srbs, or mrbs

I am not familiar with the other models.

Shirogorovs Elmax is hands down the best steel I have ever encountered. My hati in CF and Elmax is incredible.

There was no stock on the Neon, which was listed as a prototype.

Question: Is there a difference between the 95 and the 95 Flipper or are they the same model?

95 does indeed have a blade length of 3.75" (95mm). Also, like KnifeHoarder mentioned it's a little bit longer than ZT 0562 but definitely narrower in width. Did I say the smoothest bearings action ever...

Synonymous.

That's what I heard, I saw it on a dealer website and it looked very interesting. I have yet to see a review.

Well i can only speak to the ergos which are very nice. Its a small knife, thin and not really what i expect from them. The handle shape is very organic. Think a kershaw leek having a love child with a shirogorov. Still the blade shape is a little over my head.

I like the Elmax Shiros too... then again always have a preference for Elmax over many other steels. All else being constant eg blade shape and size-- Elmax just slices better for me which is something I do a lot.

Maybe it has to do with the carbide size of ELmax... as compared to say S90V which I find are "gritty". The latter is good if cutting up a lot of rope or cardboard stuff.

If anybody is interested in seeing pics I can add them. It's good to see a size comparison between the neon and the 95 a huge difference.

The neon is full titanium frame lock on MRBS, And S90v steal. Sweet super smooth razor blade sharp:D:thumbup
