I bought the knife at Recon 1. And, as with every Shiro I have bought there the action was mediocre. If you are new to Shiros, they are very hard to service as they have red loctite on the pivot and the pivot is not captured. I have the Shiro Tools and a soldering iron to heat up the pivot. So this knife has been carefully serviced, lubed and put back together with blue locktite and will be much easier to service in the future. The action is easily 3x better than when I received it. So if you buy a factory condition knife, my experience has been..be ready to be disappointed in the action. This knife pivots beautifully.
