Received this about 2 weeks ago all the way from Rusblade. I have only handled it to test the action and to take the pics/video for this post.
The action is glorious. I have tried to intentionally misfire this thing and I can’t. No matter how you hit that flipper tab, it flies out super smooth every time. It will drop shut with a bit of wiggle, common on neons and hations due to the light blade.
For those unfamiliar, Vanax37 is an exotic steel with incredible corrosion resistance. There isn’t a ton of literature out there regarding it, and whatever you find will most likely reference its predecessor, Vanax35.
I have heard it described as the love child of M390 and LC200N. The edge is very sharp and hasn’t touched a thing. Centering is dead on and zero blade play.
The carbon fiber scale has a gorgeous 3D mill pattern and looks amazing when the light hits it. Check out the video. This is certainly a knife you can stare at for a long time and see all the individual angles and cuts made into the frame and blade.
Included will be a Shirogorov microfiber cloth with the bear logo and 2 separate certificates of authenticity (one has the date of birth and build information along with authenticity sticker, the other is completely in Russian and stamped/signed). Box included of course.
