Suffice to say that Master Shiva Ki has somewhat of a "cult" following. His blades are noted for their amazing sharpness. Almost "scary sharp" as often described.
This Knife was his second attempt at a folder. It is not the perfect fit and finish that most have come to know in the high tech world of "machinists" who have become knife makers.
It's natural buffalo horn handle shows a natural "surface fissure" (fancy for crack). But I absolutely assure you that it is nothing more than on the surface. It can barely be felt with your nail edge and in most areas not at all. This knife was just returned to me from Shiva and he saw no need to address the issue other than to fill and polish it....he also threw in a sharpening!!
Master Ki is no longer taking orders by his admission. He will make a knife "now and then" for a customer or a friend. His knives carry a lifetime guarantee.
