This is a "one of a kind" Merc from Shiva. When he made it for me he had been expirementing using a clay-temper on his "Samurai steel" blades. He'd been having great results. He asked me if I minded if he added the clay-temper to my "Sam-Steel" blade. I said "Heck NO!! Anyway, the blade is a little over 8.25" from tip to gaurd and is 14" overall. The only thing I know about his "secret formula" for the Samurai steel is that it starts with L6 steel. Blade has a VERY cool grain to it--almost looks like Damascus but is more like flowing-water with "lightening lines" through it. As with all his blades it's SCARY sharp. The back-clip is sharper than most primary edges on a LOT of MS blades I've had. Mint condition.
