I knew when I got Dennis Bible's email today I had to post a GOOD recommendation for him here, despite the fact that I have yet to receive the Camillus EDC I ordered from him. Thru no fault of his own, the knife has slipped into the "black hole of cutlery" where many lost knives go between "here" and "there" (just for a second, imagine all the fine blades that have found their way into that hole!). Dennis' efforts and kind gestures to make sure I'm a satisfied customer are exemplary, and I'm sure my knife will be here soon.

I'm not going to go into detail regarding what Dennis said or did - that's not important. What's important is that despite the value of this knife, he went the extra mile to make sure I'm a happy camper, even incurring some personal expense. This is the kind of sale many dealers would have blown off. I'm accustomed, as are many of us these days, to having to get ornery and direct with folks to get the kind of service I received from Dennis. It's truly a pleasure to work with someone that offers to make things right (and then some!), before you've even considered the request yourself.

I have a short list of dealers I've worked with thus far (see my other recent post that gives some folks the kudos they deserve). They've all been great at communicating, offered very competitive prices, provided great advice, and promptly shipped me my knives. I've never really had a problem with any knife purchase to date. I would not hesitate to do business with Dennis again, and I highly recommend you give him a try if you have not done so already.

I'm still waiting for the big brown truck, but now I'm doing so with a smile and a much higher degree of confidence that my knife will soon arrive. Thanks Dennis for this unique knife buying experience!

I'm now the proud owner of a Camillus EDC 125th Anniv. Ltd. Edition, thanks to Dennis and the efforts noted above.

EDIT: Man this thing is "purtee" - it may join the ranks of the uncarried. Dennis, we'll be chatting about the new "Enhanced EDC" in partially serrated :-)
