"Shoot'n Newton"

Ok, so now as to my original question, are there any other people here that find these pistol/knife combinations as intriquing as I do as far, as collecting is concerned? I am hoping that Canadian law will allow me to be the proud owner of at least one of these in the future.

Pretty cool knife no doubt!

There goes the old adage though...

Don't bring a knife to a gun fight...hehe, this one you could!

Thanks for sharing! and Ron, Win just loves that Bowie of yours!!

Ron, that has to be the most facinating knife I have ever seen! And my compliments on the post with the pics and info. I can see how you would have so much time in the planning and work of that piece, Ron. Even the awards don't do it full justice, just like the rest of your work, guy.

Keith, I have always found the gun knife combo's to be interesting as a novelty but they seemed to me to be the worst of either world. When I think of these, I picture something like the one in your avatar. I love all knives but usually lean more to the practical side as knives are tools. However, (!!!!!!!!) Ron has come up with looks to be a practical, useable comination. A perfectly functional knife (awesome how the guards add to the appearance of the knife and perform as a functional part of the gun) and a useable, funtioning single shooter. I do really like Ron's creation, it is a beautiful piece of work. Darn good photography also...

That is an incredible feat of engineering, and a work of art.
Stunning.
One historical piece that I remember seeing as a kid, in a book was a Bowie blade with two short shotgun barrels on either side. Not sure how well it worked, but it certainly looked impressive.
