I must be the only slob on here. Every time I see pictures of someone elses shop it is neat and tidy....and clean! My shop seems to always be a mess, even right after I clean. I blow the whole place out about once a week to keep the dust down but my shop doesn't look anything like the ones I see posted on here.

hehe.... I won't even take my Digital SLR near my shop , that is how much of a disaster it is ;) My place is a mess , its my mess , I made it , and no I ain't cleaning it up.

Nice looking place you have there.

Well it sure seems like a mess when I see some of the shop pics posted on here. I swear some of these shops look like operating rooms.

Your shop looks better than mine when just cleaned. Oh and did you realise that picture needs straightning.;)

Thats CLEAN...ignore those with cleaner shops, for they are not human.

Anyone who posts pics of their spotless shop needs to spend more time making and less time being a duster-and-mop-toting sissyboy, IMHO!

I'll go straighten the painting now.

The rollaround quench bucket is just because I'm too lazy to carry it and too cheap to buy more buckets.

Hey now,,,,I was never known as a duster and mop toting sissy boy but I do try and keep a clean shop. I learned a while back it's a lot easier finding tiny screws and miscellaneous parts when dropped on the floor or lost on a bench.

As long as theres alittle room behind me to bail out in case some flesh eating machine tries to bite I'm fine. The air conditioner has to go its snowing outside!

That's a great looking shop! Looks like a true working man's shop.

I like the air deflector on the AC :):)

good looking shop SDS, not you Bill your's looks clean enough to do surgery in ;). just kidding they both look great. i must admit i'm among the messy group. but i have been getting spoiled as my boss has let me move my entire shop to my work and set it up in the extra building. I always say that people that keep there shop clean are just to lazy to look for things.

Hehe! I know...im just jealous and lazy. I could never do folders. I have enough trouble finding a ball pein hammer on my bench. Those tiny little screws would disappear into the fabric of space-time in my basement.

Hope you folks who can't find stuff in you casually maintained shops don't have this problem.

You should see mine! But I know where everything is. Yeah right!

What I want to know is how do you grind with your grinder mounted so low. I would grind my nut's off! Oh, and yeah, straighten up that pic of the dogs. They've got to be tired of running up hill!
