Tell me about that mill. is it a Grizzly? How do you like it?

I have a little Sherline mini-mill that I use for slotting guards, but it is not large enough, nor accurate enough to do much else. I've been considering something a little larger.

The only problem that I see with your shop is.......... Its just too darn clean.

It's a Harbor Freight. It does a really good job. You just cannot get carried away with your feed rate. I had to work a little bit to get the play out of the x-axis. Spindle was square. At $699 it was a bargain.

Patterned it after the Beaumont Horizontal Grinder

2 x 72 Homemade Grinder

Drivewheel from Beaumont - idler wheel is cast wheel from cart - and handle from Harley-Davidson foot peg

Small interchangeable wheels
