Cleaning and reorganizing things in my home shop, took some photos and tweaked em like the hipsters do.

Way too neat and organized for my taste. Why you can actually see the floor in places! Nice shop man.

Nice pics Sam.
Not sure if you got it but I sent you an email. Are you still making hammers? If so I would really like to buy one.

Nice Sam! Always love seeing shop pics. I'd show off some of mine, but mine's kind of clean and so some folks don't think it's real and that I just bolt pre fab slabs onto blade blanks from Jantz! ;)

I share some pics when I make a proper mess.

I had the same question about the red machine....

Also, I'm so jealous of your Sea Robin post anvil. I sent Chuck an email the other day to see if he was still making them or had any anvil stock left, but I haven't heard back.

This is an un-educated guess, but it almost looks like a mini power hammer........ Whatever it is, it looks cool:thumbup:

Thanks fellas! Without the giant Harley sized bandsaw dropped right int he middle, there's actually quite a bit of room!

Johnny, there's some dumb people out there! I'd love to see how your shop's goin~!

Eric, come on over to the shop (not this shop) I am in MD now, we'll make one.

Nathan, not to rub it in but I literally got the very last double billet 200 pound one he made, and I love it and there really is no better anvil for bladesmithing.

HAHA you guys are close but Nathan got it, it's a TEENY TINY Kenco 2 ton OBI punch press, I rough-restored it from a frozen up nugget of iron.

I have done some playing with it, 2 tons is NOT much force, but I think I can set it up with a small V die and is it as a tiny finger brake for 16 gauge, or maybe a tiny hot nipper shear.

It looks like the makings of one of those fast peening hammers like the guys in custome body shops use to shape sheet metal.

Doesn't really run all that fast.

Here's a better photo of it:

What's more non-OSHA than an open OBI? An OBI armed with an old WW2 trench knife!

(freaking sharks with frickin laser beams!)

A vintage band saw like what yours sounds like went up for sale on craiglist over the holidays, I was sweating while fighting off that "I want that" thought process.

I am sure another will pop up in my life sometime, i skipped that one. But now I know there are vintage bandsaws to go fetch. Haha

Ron, I got a good deal on it, and it's HUGE and HEAVY and a giant PITA taking up so much space in the little shop, but it was the kinda deal that only comes around once in awhile. Plus there's nothing like the old saws, they just dont make bandsaws like it anymore its a tank! So I will tolerate it for now hehe. Plus, its a Wells, and putting a phone call into them and they have any part I would ever need to fix on it, not bad considering it's over 30 years old.

Awesome Sam,
I'll shoot you an email.

With all the heavy rains we've had here I wonder why the shop hasn't slide down to my place ! Are you collecting sanding belts " that seems like a huge collection.

Robert it is INCREDIBLY different up here then in MD! I am as surprised as you are! And yes I do collect them :D
