That's right, come out, rummage through my shop and see what I will let go of. Moving more into gunmaking and need to get rid of a few tools, and stores of materials. I have a couple of grinders, forges, numberous wire EDM cut blades, springs and liners from over a decade of knifemaking, most blades are already heat treated too. Stag scales, a few pieces of ivory, lots of titanium, drops from edm jobs in 440c, CPM3V, S30V, with a lot of steel left for springs, small blades ect. wood blocks...just a bunch of stuff. I want this stuff gone, so it goes cheap. I won't take the time to list it, so you will have to call or e-mail me to get directions and just look around. My cell # is (903)746-0004. email is baileybradshaw@netscape.com.

I would be happy to help with any knifemaking techniques for anyone who wants a demo or help with something while you are here.

I will keep this open for a couple of weeks unless all this stuff gets gone.;)

you should throw some pics of the handle material and blades and stuff up on here im sure theyll sell no problem

I appreciate all the requests for materials. Received several e-mails too. Thing is, I am way too busy to photograph everything or box it up to ship. Just come see what is here and we will haggle on the price. I have a couple of hundred sets of stag scales, elephant ivory pieces that would be good for folders and inlays, a Blademaster grinder that runs 2x72 belts, with 10" contact wheel and has platen for flat grinding run by baldor motor. Various electric motors, a bucket style forge that has to be lined, a hand crank rivet forge and so on.

I know distance negates a lot of you from droping by. If I don't get anyone to come get this stuff, I will sell some of it here, but I would have to charge more for the time in photographing and posting.

I also has about 50 old knives illustrated and blade mags from about 15 yrs ago. Interesting to see what was going on then.

My son and I visited Bailey's shop today. Since my son doesn't mind spending his dad's money, we bought all the scrap knife steel, handle material, deer antlers, etc that he had. He has some tools left but I'll let him post on what he has left to sell. The nice thing is that it was only about a three hour drive one way.

Bailey is a true craftsman. His workmanship is excellent. His double barrel rifles look as good as the English doubles. He is a very nice person to talk to and super knowledgeable on knife (and gun) making. Now I want to go out and purchase a wire EDM machine.

Enjoyed the visit Lewis, look forward to your next visit.

I do still have a 1/3 hp buffer, a 75# anvil, a semi finished horizontal grinder ( shop built, just needs a small wheel yoke and wheel). I also have an old tool post grinder that I mounted a belt grinder on for surface grinding damascus and such. It can hog off a lot of material, up to .02" per pass. Great if you do a lot of damascus.

Also have cutting torch and guages ( will need new twin line, but they are not expensive), a hand crank rivet forge that is very clean, hundreds of old horse shoes and a few other forging tools. Dad was a Farrier, and I have a lot of stuff he collected for blacksmithing projects. Cool stuff if you are into it.
