Hi,
do you have a recommendation for a reliable internet knife shop that sends to Europe?

(I'm aware of NGK and I have bought things from them (and they are good:tu))

I'd like to keep postage rates rather low (ergo no UPS or FedEX (=$100+) or USPS Global Express (=$75) etc.), therefore I'd like the shop to be able to send it through USPS Priority mail international or First class mail international with low (say around $20) declared value (as it goes uninsured anyway) and marked as e.g. "camp tool" so not to attract thieves.

Oh, and I use Mastercard so secured online ordering is very appreciated.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I don't know of any dealers that will put anything other than the actual value of the knife on a Customs declaration. That is fraud, and if discovered can result in big financial penalties and possible criminal prosecution. If I was a dealer, there is no way that I would want the US Treasury Department going after me for any reason, let alone for the sale of a few knives. They can make your life a living hell.

I can't think of any dealers that will ship internationally by any means that can't be tracked.

There may well be some dealers out there that will take the risk, so good luck in your search.

It's kind of Catch 22 - if it goes uninsured then any thief doesn't have to fear of big (or any) investigation due to lost package.

If it goes insured it costs arm and leg. I'm not fond of idea paying more for shipping than for a knife :(
I accept the risk of loosing the package when sent uninsured but I don't want to make it easy for any greedy bastard that gets to handle the package.
