Shop Tour - Meet the Makers

It was great to meet you Peter. And, thank you for the excellent beers. I guess per your pic that I need a nap or something. LOL.

Andy:

You know how fickle a camera can be.....my first shot just happened to catch you blinking, however, when I went back to look at it, you certainly could make a case that you were napping LOL. When I showed to my wife I said " Look honey, Andy is so talented he can shape a handle with his eyes closed !
I didn't catch it on camera but I wish I could have snapped a shot when you held the knife up into the light to visualize the contour of the handle.....that's when it hit me.....each knife is one of kind even though it's crafted to be a specific model. Awesome memories for sure !

Yes, it was great meeting you and Susan. We always like to meet folks in person, whether here at the shop or at the shows. Brings the family just that much closer. Thanks again for the beers Peter! I made the mistake of having one on an empty stomach when I got home that night and was high as a kite in no time. :D

Likewise Ken......yea buddy, you must have opened the Dragons Milk....that stuff packs a punch for sure. You had best wait for the holiday weekend on the Ten Fiddy. That can supposedly holds the same volume as a growler....and once you open it there is no turning back. May even be best to share it with a friend.

Ten Fidy will do some damage. I took some to a meet a few months back and it was everyone's favorite. The easy drinkin' chocolatey stout has a wallop though. Some of the guys were definitely feeling it come morning.

I enjoyed you and your wife's visit and it was great to meet the both of you. It is enjoyable to see the excitement that is created from our little shop and to know that all aspects from purchasing, using the knives, and visits effect everyone in such a positive way. Meeting the folks who treasure what we work to create is in my book, "the icing on the cake". Be sure to stop by in your travels when you can, and once again, it was a pleasure to meet you both! I will touch base later to discuss the patriot and minuteman further. Thanks again for the brew!

It's always fun to interact with people without seeing them and get an idea of what they look like... then actually see them. I am always way off in my mental picture of them!

Well, its Friday, just me and Andy here at the shop, cold beers chillin in the fridge that Peter so graciously brought us, so.......

Why not have a few to finish the week. Wait, gotta do some spa treatment knives shortly, or maybe Monday......

You guys are making me jealous. I have a couple 6 packs of Oskar Blues "Your Mamas Lil Yellow Pils" and "Dales Pale Ale" sitting in the fridge at the house. They sell it at a local grocery store here, good stuff.

Ugggh, I wish I could get anything resembling good beer here. Once had a local tell me I had to try this new import, said it was the best he ever had. Found out it was a Coors Lite. I can tolerate the beer here but I definitely do not enjoy it.

That looks like a celebration of the faithful......Bottoms Up ! Looks like Ken is missing out on that Ten Fiddy

You better wait till Monday on those spa knives especially since I have several sitting in the tray.

That's awesome. Hope you had lunch, the empty stomach can be a little dangerous. Enjoy the weekend.

Your quite welcome Kris !

You know how it is when you have a decent brew sitting in the fridge, you start hearing little voices in your head calling you. Andy & Allen no doubt were hearing those little voices and could't resist the temptation after a long week in the shop ;)
