I think you need to stand up when you grind for the exercise, and lay off the donuts!:D
Just kidding Nathan, looks like a nice setup. I bet youre lovin that Frink. Is that a speed control to youre left?

Nathan, your shop looks very nice and well thought out.

I do think you may have installed everything at the wrong address, my shop has been waiting for all of that equipment!

Have fun!

Nathan, nice shop.:D

I uh, noticed you have one of those radioactive anvils better ship it to me I'll take care of it:cool:

do you have any idea how much pizza and donuts it took nathan to build that tummy, oophs,i mean work rest :D . all kidding aside, i grind sitting down also. may not be the fastest, best i can stay at the grinder a lot longer. i do agree that the shop is to clean. nathan get in there and grind!:) my third grinder will be a frink, one of these day's

It is so organized!...and there is so much room!...and the lighting is great! In comparison, my shop looks like a bat cave....or spider hole ...dark, cluttered, messy.

One more note......where are your safety glasses.

Thanks for the photos,
Take care,
Rob

That is an "Organic Workrest". Nice shop Nathan. I really like that Frink grinder. Now where is that knife you have done?

Nathan where's your respirator?
it must be the new place? looking good,
I'd send some pictures of my shop but I have
28'X32' plus 34'X36' and 2 stories of goat paths.
I have a floor around here somewhere.
you made that copy of my 103 blade yet?
still waiting to see it.

My wife just wanted to take a picture of me grinding,I normally
do wear glasses and respirator,so for the picture I did not put one
one.My belly does stick out when I grind,Good old prednisone put that on me and it is hard to get off.I have ground standing up but
I feel like I have more control setting down and it is not hard on the back.
Nick I have a knife done and I have been trying different thing to get
some good pictures of it,mirror finished blades are hard to take pictures of.
I got the anvil free, my sister is a school teacher and they were remodeling the school and they were going to throw it away when
cleaning out the 0ld shop room so I lucked into it.
Thanks for all the good input,I will post a knife soon.
Nathan:)

Great looking setup there! Only problem I have with grinding while sitting is the family jewels are so exposed..:-) It would be a bitch to hose yer balls down with a fire extinguisher..HA!!!

while standing and hollow grinding i set the heavy cotton jacket i had on ablaze. the family jewels were the first place i hit with the fire exstinguisher. just to make sure.:D

Very nice Shop!!!!:) Mine looked like that one day or was that an hour. Oh well maybe it didn't. You need beer cans (ask Gouge) and dirt and dust and the grinder is too clean and how can you grind without a cigeratte. You kids will learn.:D :D :D

Great looking shop!
I agree with the other guys: it's too clean......keep the wife out of there.
What do you use that overhead weedeater for?
Thanks for the photos.

Yeah I agree about the anvil,I really lucked out with that.
The shop is knife shop and garage, with a snowblower and lawnmower
and a weed wacker, got to snowblow in the winter and cut
alot of grass in the summer. Now if I could just get my truck in
there I would be ok.
:)

Hey, great looking shop! Don't feel bad. Mine is usually neat too. Some of us have to keep up these bad habits. I got an anvil free, too (it's my secondary one). I searched high and loe for an anvil; my father-in-law had an old one and gloated over it. I finally found great anvil from a maker named Glen Deil in PA. After that my father-in-law gave me his because since I had one his wasn't any fun anymore(don't take it wrong, he's a great guy). :D
