This weekend was chores and fine tuning around the living quarters. I also need a couple of pieces of furniture and no funds, so I built the coffee table. Next up is an end table. Luckily there are sheds around the property full of walnut. So I went to work. This table is 13" wide and 45" long. Its actually just a 5 board bench, so if I ever get a coffee table there I'll have a really great bench to put somewhere else. It came out pretty nice for only costing me $8 for a bottle of wood glue.

More importantly did I miss the bar in all the update photos? Just wondering. Shop is looking amazing.

I have seen people make a coffee table out of old doors, if there was any recessed parts you could put plexiglass over it and fill them in like a shadow box. Maybe display some knives in there and change them out every so often. However, I have seen When Harry Met Sally so a Wagon wheel coffee table is NOT an option. 😀
