Shop video tour.

Jarod,

Thanks for the video, cool shop. I like the work rest on your grinder. I've been trying to come up with a design for something like that but I usually end up with a complicated mess. Your idea is simple and straight forward, hope you don't mind if I borrow it?

Very cool, solid choice in background music too. Although I was a bit disappointed that it ended shortly after Creeping Death started. ;)

My grandfather would have smacked me for getting near a moving belt with that watch on.... Come to think of it, I'd smack me for doing that!

Dude, AWESOME shop! I dream of having a shop like yours. And your grinder is definately the baddest ass grinder I've seen. It just eats that steel like it's nothing! Thanks for the tour, man.

Cool vid, can you get us a little further into the forge next time?:D I would like to come talk/pick your brain sometime if you don't mind.

Nice shop , just me , but I would build a cover of some sort for those 110 outlets behind the grinder , even with the dust unit , you are gonna end up with steel dust in there. :)

Kudos on the Metallica background tunes as well.

ya, you can come over any time and play. if you do come over make sure you can spend a day so we can get you a knife made. we will fire up the forge and hammer and press out some steel and do some grinding. fun times, this invitation go's out to any one else that wants to see what knife making is all about.

there's just no excuse for that level of showing off :D

you have a nicely equipped, organized shop, and i'm 10 kinds of jealous.

Newbie question here. What's the white stuff in the blue barrel along with the wood? Is it something to dry out the wood?

i assumed it was something like flux, being next to the forge, but there sure is a lot of it.

JT: have you done any hot rolling? i'm only reading about it, but i started getting curious about the applications of hot rolling steel.

 That's a generous offer! What day of the week works best for you? I usually work 6 days a week, just let me know the date/time and I'll be there! You can PM me the details if you want, thanks.
