In April I'm going on a vacation to New York.
And the knifes are sooo cheap in The US.
In The Netherlands a PM2 costs 130 $
Thanks:)

Don't carry in NYC. Pretty much every knife is illegal to carry in the city, and you can be searched without warrant or notice.
I can not stress this enough. If you feel the need too, carry something small, and nothing with a pocket clip.
Police in NYC are incredibly suspect when it comes to any type of blade, whether it be fixed or folding. Granted, you are a tourist so much less likely to attract police attention, but never the less it is not worth the risk IMO

Edit: forgot this: Three Little Indians in Little Italy, nice smokeshop with blades as well. Admittedly havent been there recently but I cant imagine why they would have stopped selling them. Also, it never hurts to take a look around at some pawn shops. Never know what you may find, 'specically in the city.

Just out of curiosity are you just going to NYC? NYC is just a small portion of the New York state, there is the Catskill Mountains, Adirondack Mountains, Hudson River to check out. There is also Niagara Falls, Tug Hill region(only place in the state without cell reception and 3G network!!), the Finger Lakes region, also known as the Wine area, there is a ton of small winery's and wine bus tours. Then there is also other nice cities, Rochester(birth place to photography, Kodak), Syracuse, Buffalo, Albany, Utica, Binghamtom, Ithaca, etc.. If you get out of the city New York can be a very wonderful state, not just one large city as most people seem to think it is sometimes. Hope you have fun on your trip, also to note NYC is not as bad as some might think, I am sure there is a ton of members here that will tell you that also!!

Its kinda funny, i live in NYC and I havent been to any shop I would buy knives from other than sporting goods stores... usually mail order for me.

thanks for the links
