Short bushcraft video with a Fiddleback Arete appearance

Excellent all around Tod...... I loved every minute of it.

Can't wait for your next production......thanks for sharing !

That was a very good video. I much prefer to feel a connection through what I'm watching rather than some nard that started outdoorsing last year and is just spitting reversed garbage about gear that you need and a bunch of look at me junk. Thanks for posting this, good work!

that was a great track to go with the video

like Andy said "we suck at videos"

but i will add...
Hasco,
Did you make 54 knives last week?:D:thumbup:

Tod, thank you for sharing. This is very well done and I enjoyed every bit of it. Keep the videos coming!!!

Awesome video Tod! I really enjoyed it. Must've watched it about 5 times now.

Good stuff Tod! I liked your narration. Wise words. The visuals are great and you show off some bushcrafting skills. Very well done.

Oh, and nice knife. :)

Great video Tod! I'm subscribed!

Nicely made. I enjoyed it! I'll watch more if you make more.

I REALLY enjoyed this video. Excellent job Tod!

Thanks so much gentlemen!

That's really awesome hasco! Production value is great and now I'm inspired to get out into the woods.
Background track is perfectly matched to the theme and message. Would love to see more!

Thanks! If it inspires anyone to get out in the woods, I'm happy with that!

Really enjoyed that. Nice!

Thank you!

Nice video, Todd! Kind of what was in my mind when I posed the question to Andy, "What the heck is bushcrafting?"

Thank you! I had never heard the term bushcrafting until a few years ago. I think it is a European term that is slowly catching on in the US, but I could be wrong. I like how Andy said in his video, "if you made it in the woods, it's bushcrafting." Lol. That's the best definition I have heard. I always here people say, oh, I have been doing that my whole life and didn't even know it.

Great video Todd! I like how you narrate, and I like your areas of focus on the film. I also really like your pot hanger for your water bottle. I carry a cable bail for my guyot but I may quit carrying it now :)

Thanks Brian! I learned that toggle method for the water bottle from a Dave Canterbury video. You probably noticed, but the trick is to make sure the cord is off centered so it slips in and out of the bottle easily. Even if you just put your stainless steel bottle in the coals, it makes it much easier to get out when it's hot.

Good work! Really enjoyed it! Look forward to the next.

Great video. Thanks for sharing it with us.

well done.

Thanks so much guys!

I love it Tod. You did a great job sharing your feelings about nature and the riches to be found there if you spend the time to learn. I appreciate the nice blend of narration, subtitles for the plant names, and activities going on that are better shown than using words to describe. This was an awesome video in my opinion.

Thanks my friend!

Phil

Thank you Phil! I appreciate the kind words!

Thanks Phillip!

Man, we suck at videos...

Great work Hasco.

LOl. I have thoroughly enjoyed the couple videos you all have put out. The hard part for me was figuring out how the editing software worked. That was a pain in the butt. The only trick I learned was to apply the cross dissolve effect in-between the scenes so it doesn't look choppy. I think it is easier to film things than to do interviews too. You guys are kicking butt!

Excellent in every way! Very professionally done. Subscribed

I enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing.

That was a great way to start my Saturday morning, Thank You.

Excellent all around Tod...... I loved every minute of it.

Your philosophy of nature and respect for the environment really shines through.

Hasco,
Did you make 54 knives last week?:D:thumbup:

LOL! Well, I think I am up to 5-6 knives total that I have made in my whole lifetime and they can only be called a knife because they have handle and a sharp part.

With or without the fact you guys made that many killer knives last week, your videos are great! I can't wait to watch more!

Very nice video.

Stop bragging Phillip [emoji3]

Lol. Thanks Scotcha!

Tod, thank you for sharing. This is very well done and I enjoyed every bit of it. Keep the videos coming!!!
