well I have had this fractured hip for nearly 3 months now. I went on a short hike in the redwoods to get back into the swing of things. there is a really back woods road in the santa cruz mountains I like to drive and it goes by this small river (creek) I was walking along a little further than I had before and found this old cruddy bridge. I thought it was kinda cool. I hung out here and had my lunch and took a few pics. it was hard to get good pics because the canopy was really think.

Thanks for sharing! I like little finds like the bridge in the middle of nowhere. Nice Fiddleback too.

Great pics. That Fiddleback is sweet looking.

Glad to hear you are getting out and about.

Boom,

Great pics. Love the deep forest look.

How did you break you hip? As I recall you're a young guy. Always think of that as an old persons injury?

I love big forests like that. I half expected to see an Ewok staring out at me from behind a tree in the first pic.

What naked blade is that? Glad to hear your back on your feet, I'm really looking forward to it as well!

I had shattered my hip about 10 years ago and had a titanium rod put in the bone. well I took a bad fall and fractured the bone around the titanium rod. it was a spiral fracture. it hurt pretty bad.
the little blade is a titanium necker from McGuniess.
