Short Hike with Knife Porn

I went out for a couple of hours today, on my quest to identify more plants and trees (this years study) and did a bit of chopping and slicing. I carried my PSK (old gas mask canvas case) and a few knives. It was colder than it should be for this time of year, but thats New England for you. I went ahead and wore my Gators incase I came upon some marsh land...we have been in the melt, and this cold snap is a short one, so alot of the woods have wet spots and channels of runoff. I found some deer sign and rabbit, nothing major. Didn't really see that many birds around? Gene
