Short Road Trip from DC to GA: Looking For Knife Stops

I have not looked at the website recently, but on my last trip there, they had a lot of knives that I did not remember seeing on the website. So yeah, I think it would be well worth the detour to see it, especially if this is the first time!

Great meeting you at lunch the other day. I am sorry work got in the way of us hanging out longer. I think we could have sat around and talked knives until the place closed. If you are passing this way again let me know and next time I will make sure they get our order right.

Whitty, I had a great time meeting you and taking knives. Also, by far the best bbq of my trip.:D Will definitely let you know if I'm passing your way again. Do the same if your travels bring you up this way.

p.s. hope everything is okay after those storms passed through yesterday.
 
Back from my trip and I just wanted to thank all of you forumites for your helpful suggestions in this thread. I checked out a number of the knife and gun shops your suggested on my way down to Athens. Also had some great bbq with Whitty and discovered that we were both carrying Spyderco Leafstorms (what are the odds!).

Despite the crazy weather yesterday, I made the detour to SMKW on my way back to northern VA. Very impressive store. Really glad I went. I could have spent half a day there. In the end, I only had an hour to tour the whole place! Picked up a Spyderco Assist and an H1 Ladybug, and then had to cut myself off at that point.
