Nice tanto! Who did the ht and where is the HRC at?

Is there a back bevel on that chisel grind?

Thanks. Peters heat treat does all my cpm3v to 60 hrc. I do my own 5160 and high carbon steals in my paragon oven. Aim hardness on the short sword is 58 hrc.

I have been making knives for almost 2 years now and last spring I bought the oven and started doing all my own heat treating on oil hardening steels.

No ,there is no back bevel. I do a light strop on the backside but no pronounced bevel.

Now that short sword is wicked! I'll definitely keep my eye out for one of those in the future.

I really like the short sword, I have some questions. Would you mind emailing (vwrsi@hotmail.com) me? Thanks.

Thanks guys. Right now I am not taking orders because I stay very busy with other things. My knife making has slowed to a couple knives a month (if I'm lucky) and I usually just make one offs to keep it fresh. Once things settle down I hope to start taking orders again.
