Hey all,
So, thanks to the government shutdown, the wife and I aren't getting paid by the USAF as usual, so need to get some cash for rent and all. I'm putting up some short swords and camp knives for sale. All prices are shipped to your door CONUS, and will include your choice of basic leather or kydex sheath.
First up is a bush scimitar. This one has more slender, curved handle and a forward balance for chopping. It is Aldo's CPM 3V, 3/16" thick, 24" OAL, 17" blade, POB about 3" up from the guard. It's been professionally heat treated using Dan Keffeler's 3V formula by Peter's Heat Treat. Machine (scotchbrite) finish. Brass guard, bocote handle scales. 370 shipped (previously 420) USPS Priority within the CONUS to your door, with your choice of leather or kydex sheath. That's about the price I normally charge for a blade in 5160, and puts it barely above cost for me.

I've got another CPM 3V bush dao, with a wider guard, and lower POB. Balance point is right above the guard, making this blade lively in hand. Also Aldo's CPM 3V, 3/16" thick, 24" OAL, nearly 17" blade (about 16 and 7/8"), brass fittings, bocote handle scales, machine (scotchbrite finish), professionally heat treated by Peters using Dan Keffeler's formula. 400 shipped (450 previously) USPS Priority within the CONUS to your door, again, your choice of leather or kydex sheath.

Next is a 52100 camp knife, made from Aldo's 52100 in 1/8" thickness. It's 14 5/8" OAL, with a 9.5" blade. Handle scales are bubinga, and POB is right at the ricasso. Professionally heat treated by Peters. 175 shipped to your door, with your choice of leather or kydex sheath.

I'm also going to sell this wakizashi prototype. 24" OAL, 1/4" thick Aldo's 5160 steel, heat treated by Darrin Sanders. Blade is 17" long, and POB is 2" up. Stabilized old-growth california redwood burl handle, from Burl Source. Nice, quick blade for your cutting purposes. Selling this one for a bargain 300 shipped.

Finally, I've got a Persian in Aldo's 1095, also heat treated by Darrin Sanders. It's 3/16" thick steel, 9" OAL, 4.5" blade, and balance at the pointer finger. This one is one of my favorites. Textured bocote handle scales. 145 shipped CONUS.

I'll have another camp knife and a smaller bush dao in 5160 coming soon as well, so if you miss out on these, stay tuned. Discounts available to military and other service professions, as well as Beckerheads and prior customers.
Payment via cash/check/MO or Amazon Payments. Email at crimsonfalconcustoms @ gmail.com for payment details and to request what type of sheath you want. I do NOT, repeat, NOT, accept Paypal. Amazon Payments should be a free signup if you want to pay with a card online, and doesn't require me to charge extra to cover fees.
Thanks for looking!
