Just curious, when you stripped the RC-4 that is now in my possession, did you strip under the micarta also?? Or did you leave it for corrosion resistance??

Sorry my friend, it is stripped under the slabs as well.

In the past, I've put clear nail polish or superglue(let dry before putting on the scales) on to help corrosion resistance, but not on that particular blade.
