Hey guys,

I was hoping to double check that 2017 shot show in Las Vegas is also when knife companies show/release their knew knives for 2017? Also, anything you hope comes out this year/companies you're exciting to see with what they are coming out? Me personally, in the future I'm looking forward to watching the benchmade line up as I hope they come out with some new knives with the quality of ZT and improved ergonomics. I'm also hoping to see new and improved ZT Hinderer or ZT Emerson collaboration.

5.5" XL DDR Dominator (proto) which I'll most likely list for sale the day I get it.

Some companies introduce their products at the European version of SHOT.

Which is the IWA Show that is held in Germany.

Some companies also release their new stuff as they get them in stock too.

Shot show is where new knives are released/revealed right?

Yes and no. BLADE is probably bigger, and I would say overall probably only a strong minority of knife companies do their new product releases at SHOT Show, and most of those don't necessarily only do so at a show. Sometimes that's the first place they get widely seen, though.

I want to see a titanium handled benchmade bali with bushings and spring latch.

THANKYOU!!!! I am absolutely baffled that the one company that got its start in balisongs and protects the name itself so vigorously is so behind the times and current market trends. There is so much unrealized potential. Not that benchmade is an innovative company in my eyes. Most times they jump on trends only when its blatantly obvious that the popularity of certain features isn't fading. But even in the case of flippers they really did all they could to screw it up. Sometimes I just don't get what that company is thinking.

FYI Benchmade has released a video on Instagram teasing their 2017 lineup, and it includes a shot of a new balisong. Looks like some custom pivot hardware, but doesn't show much else.
