see the thread here:

It's my opinion that since Frost is well known to have ripped of many of the companies which are represented here on BF. I feel that that any user proclaiming to be from Frost should be banned, just as if we'd ban any of the normal thieves on GBU.

What do you think?

Add San Jose Savage to the list as a Frost person

Fans of Frost shouldn't be banned as they are learning. That's like not allowing a Beetle on a carshow fairground parking lot. However, dealers that SELL Frost crapola and profit from this travesty to the cutlery world should be showed the door in a hurry.

Looking at the provided thread link, it's quite evident that "he, she, they" are promoting "Frost" products. It's hard to tell if the person is a "Frost" employee. Hell, anyone can come here and pose as any knife manufacturing company employee.

They should be kicked overboard just for that post, but that's me.

As far as generating a lynch mob to string up "Frost" representatives. . . . I think that call needs to be made by Spark and or the Super Mod-ja-nators. . . . .not the minions.

On the other hand, if they "are allowed to play here". . . . .you can elect not to participate here or just not participate in their discussions.
.

But please look at our other knives at Frostcutlery.com search

I'm not advocating a lynch mob, I'm avocated a considered action BFORE it turns into a lynch mob with potential damage to BF and other legitimate companies that participate here.

I figured this thread would alert Spark, yah, he has final say, but a little healthy discussions as brought up by the minions is good.

They should not be allowed to promote their products, but it would be kind of interesting to have them here so they could answer to the questions about all their stolen designs. I doubt they would want to do that though.

Your quote proves nothing. As I said before,

Not advocating a lynch mob ? Hmmmmm. . . . .

The title states. . . . .

That's provoking a "lynch mob mentality." By the way, there are plenty of "thieves," in GB&U, that haven't been banned or that it took a great deal of time before they were banned.

Want to alert Spark of your position ? Ever consider sending him an E-mail or PM ? :jerkit:

Besides, who died and elected you "Chief Advocate ?"

When I clicked on this thread,I thought it was a joke thread.
Guess not.
Oops!

gig do you just like to piss on everyone, or do you contribute?

I think that you're trying to insult me. LMAO What's wrong honey, do you feel pissed on ?

On "everyone ?" Hmmmmm. . . . . 46,895 members, that's a lotta pissin' ! While I've been here for some time, my badder isn't that big. So, logically speaking. . . .I don't think so.

Now you're the "Chief of the Contribution Police ?" Hmmmmm. . . . . Like this thread? Some contribution ! Should earn you considerable bragging rights ! :jerkit:

Boy. . . . ."BFC Advocate, Chief of the Contribution Police, Piss measurer, and Lynch Mob Instigator." Do you need the medals or a chest to pin them on ?

As far as Dave's contribtions to this forum go, they have been huge. He has spent immeasureable hours doing passarounds and has put a lot of his own money into the purchasing of knives for the passarounds that he never saw a penny back on. Dave and I often disagree, but I will never question his contributions to BladeForums.

Gig, I personally enjoy your contributions to BladeForums. They are just done in a different way is all.

As far as Frost Cutlery employees being banned is concerned, this is something that I don't think should be done. If we can figure out who it is that makes the decisions on what designs to market and who it is that runs the company, there may well be a case for banning them for their design theft. Banning people that just work there doesn't seem right to me.

Frost Cutlery does not appear to be the type of cutlery that most members here would really have an interest in purchasing,knock-off issues aside.
I don't particularly care for low quality knives that knock-off others designs so blatantly like the sebenza copy, more than likely without paying royalties.I'm concerned about the safety of the uneducated consumers who use these knives as edc's possibly under strenuous conditions.
As far as banning Frost or their representatives is not for me to decide, but I would not be saddend if they didn't participate at the forums.

The other down side to the idea, is once you start, where do you stop?

Many companies have been accused of ripping off other companies designs, Frost, Smith & Wesson, United Cutlery and even Cold Steel for starters. Some of these, Spark himself sells.

Should any of them be allowed to advertise here, probably not, but if you start banning their employees, just for where they work, who's next?

The 2 guys that do the infomercials are hilariously unprofessional in their product showcasing. Has anyone seen the video of that guy who hits the spine side of a katana on the table and he get cut by the broken tip? That other guy with the thick southern accent gets up there and says something like "We may need to do emergency surgery in the studio." I sometimes watch those infomercials hoping for more 3 Stooges like comedy-no offense to the 3 Stooges though. I also look to see what other knives have been ripped off

hmmmmm could be fun kinda like watching a snake get pecked to death by a bird. If they have the cajones to come here and actually respond to the 1,000's diffrent problems we have with thier company and products then let em. If they come here and say "we are looking to inprove our product and would like feedback on the ways we can upgrade our product" then I would actually welcome them and give them my full bitch list about thier knives.

If you ever saw the Frost National distrabution center (small metal building on I75 between Knoxville and Chatanooga)you would think the same thing I do.
I don't think they really have any marketing dept or any other dept except for recieveing and shipping.
If they had a forum here or anywhere else I belive there would be so much (for lack of a better term)trolling in it that it would have to shut down.
Hold it,maybe it would be good if they do really work for Frost as there would be someone to awnser for all the designs they steal.
