I agree with an earlier poster, take it apart, clean and lube it and put it back together and see how it is then. In my experience, if you dont put it back together exactly right, it will still open and close smoothly but it wont lock up tight like it should and it can also effect how far the lock travels. I noticed that my lock was starting to move way over and was thinking about sending it in, but I took it apart, cleaned it, smoothed up the washers on some really fine sandpaper and lubed it with some tuff glide grease. After I put it back together, its locked up like a new knife, and the lock travel is about half as much. Thats one of the best things about the Sebenza, easy to maintain.
