Should I buy a spyderco buschcraft or an Lt Wright GNS (Scandinavian)

Kellam Wolverine is good high qaulity curly birch handle and very sharp scandi edge for 80 dollars
condor bushlore good also for budget

if my budget was higher I choose LT wright over spyderco.

Go w the LT. Extremely close to custom, great customer service and that Scandi grind is a wood eating beast

I agree with Dcaggie06. I've got three GNS, and the one I use most often (the others are reserve) serves me very well. I also have several LT Wright and Blind Horse knives....LT does wonderful work, and his CS is impeccable.

Dcaggie knows his knives! L.T. Wright is soooo near custom and his heat treat is amazing! About the best bang for your buck around!

Funny story about Sal making the Spyderco logo into a cute spider - my wife calls it a tick, which is way worse down in Florida than your average spider. So with respect to the awesome spydercos her and I both carry, I would send business in Wrights direction in a second. Nothing but good reports although, admittedly, I do not have direct experience with one. Perhaps the answer is to get both, pick your favorite, then sell us the other one!

I've never held a knife that fits my hand so well as the SPyderco Bushcraft UK, so that has my vote without a doubt.
Bonus is that it's designer (Chris Claycomb) is an active member on these forums as well as its manufactorer, Sal from Spyderco.

If you want a scandi, then buy the definitive scandi from Scandinavia, which is a Mora.
You will save a lot of money, and you will have a true scandi knife that is known as one of the most capable and respected buishcraft knives in the world. Probably used by more bushcrafters and survivalists than any other brand.
Don't let the cheap prices put you off. They are the real deal, and are very low cost.
