Should I buy?

Looks to be in great shape in the picture.
I paid $212 brand new for my 0560 and it is buttery smooth opening and closing.

Since he lives so close to you, you can go check it out in person prior to buying.

Here's the thing. SHOW him, tell him, that you can get the same knife...factory fresh...for much less money. He should try to match that price and actually get below it since his knife has passed through some hands.
Also, the 056X series...they are big knives. I've had both new; very nice; much too large for my hand.
I cannot hold a small Sebbie. A large Seb is what I carry, although it's a big large for me. The Grayman Dua fits my hand great.
In the ZT line, I now have one model, the 0550 gen2...which is a step down in physical size, but not in performance.
Do check it out.
Good luck.

Thanks brother

So guys, I took the decision of not buying the knife, thank you very much for helping make the good decision. I'll buy a new one when I get a better deal. The guys does not want to deal at all.

Good advice

I agree completely. This knife is wonderful when you get a good 'un, mine is great in all areas and I love it. Everything that has been noted to be an issue is a shame, but it exists.

I'd buy after looking at it in person, trying to save $15 on this knife online is a mistake IMO. I paid $260 from a local dealer just to ensure the one I got had no issues, and it doesn't.

Well worth the extra $$. Mine is a keeper!

I owned one and was not crazy about the Elmax steel. Maybe I just got a bad one but it chipped very easily. Beautiful knife though
