I have already performed extensive modifications on this knife. I have rehafted the backsprings and added the vintage style opening notch for the lifter blade. This has been my knife of the year and it's what I carry most days. I'm thinking about lopping the top of this butter spreader off:

I've performed the modification before on a 78, and that knife is still floating around here somewhere:

I think black mamba black mamba has done a nice one on a 92 Eureka, too.

I think black mamba black mamba has done a nice one on a 92 Eureka, too.
I think the blade is “meaty” enough to clip and I personally thing it would look pretty darn good.
 
ive thought about it myself, but my 85 is currently getting blade deleted atm. Id be curious to see how yours turn out. The 78 turned out pretty nicely, and the 85 youve got even more meat to work with!
