Should I Cut this Burl into knife handle pieces?

Mark, I'm DEFINATELY down for like 6 of the size Nick likes maybe even 1 X 2.25- 2.5 X 5.
And hold me to this. I cant see the pics on my work computer so I dont want to miss out.:D;)

If you're counting, please add a couple more Nick+ size blocks and 2 sets of scales for me.
Thanks,

Put me down for two sets of Nick size blocks.

Now once again without the fuzzy math, how much did that just cost me? Hark, was that a saw I just heard fire up? :D

I could be wrong, but I get the feeling everybody is calling me fat!!! :o

LMAO ;)

I would be looking at something like 5 or 6 blocks too Mark. :)

i'd be in for at least one or two nick size blocks.....maybe more depending on your pricing.....hey nick-i think u just created a new size.....i can just see websites selling "nick blocks" now:D.....ryan

Hey Mark,

Wow what amazing stuff. How old would you say the trees likely would have been? How thick is the slab? Can you re-saw the bugga and get two slabs, one for a table (etc) the other for knives?

I'd take at least a couple hundred dollars worth of blocks (especially if there's some discount incentive for quantity purchasing ;)), preferably in two or three sizes for matching large, medium and small handled knife sets. I'd be up for some 1/4-1/2" thick boards, or bigger blocks for re-sawing, for dovetail type boxes too!

Keep us posted. All the best, Phil

Hi Mark, I would definately be interested in at least 5 Nick blocks, perhaps more if there is some type of quantity discount (buy 10 blocks and get a free table?????)
