Should I fly my RAT?

eh, it should be fine. I haven't lost a knife yet through the airports, traveling

I have an Izula that never leaves my side but I am about to fly up to NY for a couple weeks and am debating on whether or not to check it with my luggage since everyone I know who has seen it likes it...a lot, it could be easily stolen by anyone handling my luggage....what do yall think as loyal RAT owners?

I used to work on an airport. The only thing the binrats like to collect are ladies underwear :) And yes...they have a key to that suitcase you have.

okay heres the solution. hide the izula in your shoe. put it let it go throught the security scanner. then pray to god that the security gaurd is another knife guy

No doubt the knife will arrive as long as your luggage does. Done this since I was ten years old, and nothing has changed. Lock your bag your knife will be fine. No liquids though. I can't stand flying these days, what a pain in the ass they make it.

I went to CA. From IL and took a kershaw cyclone, and an CRKT m-16 04 and didnt have a problem. COming home was the same way. Just pack them in a pair of socks.

zip lock bag
old underwear
chocolate

hidden izula :)

I think this is the winner so far!!!:)

Seriously i wouldnt worry about it. I too normally throw my knife in a sock or under a shoe insert in my luggage. I also normally fly with firearms in the lugagge and so far I havent had anything disappear. But it always makes me feel uneasy knowing that my cutlery and firearms are in a suitcase and I have no control over them.

Good luck and hopefully you wont have any issues!!:)
