Should I mirror polish my ZT 0560 blade?

I tried on mine, didn't come out great. Probably took a bit of useful life out of the edge when I did that, but it was an experiment and that one's far from my one and only 0560. Besides, it's still in service, and going strong.

Word of warning to others, a Naniwa super stone is not the best way to achieve a mirror polished flat on ELMAX.

How about use it? It's not jewelry.

I agree. If you polish it, scratches from use will show even more and fingerprints will drive you nuts.

Why is it when you hand something shiny to someone they feel the need to cover the entire thing with fingerprints?

Just polished the bevel and swedge. Looks nice to me.
