Shouldn't every Friday be "Black Friday"

I dare not pause to like anything tonight- trying to get my Friday pics in.

I have one of those around here somewhere, although I think mine's dark green. Kind of neat

Excellent sharpness in that pic (no pun intended ;) ):thumbsup: Like the lighter too

Carrying my very first knife, a Colonial Forest-Master, in this week's rotation; I've had it for over 60 years:

I'm also carrying this somewhat black Rough Rider midnight swirl gentleman's sowbelly stockman (thanks, Todd). The nice shield came off in the laundry one Saturday, but I found it rattling around in the washing machine, so I can glue it back on when I think of it.

A truly special knife, GT. 🤠
Thanks, John. :)
I'd hate to lose it, but I'd hate to never carry it, either. When I was a kid, I think I had it tied to a belt loop with baler twine. I should probably go back to some kind of lanyard-based loss prevention system for the times I carry it. 🤓

I Wish I still had my first knife! It would be more than 60 years old like yours!

Definitely!
It would be heart breaking to lose it.
That's for sure.

I think I'm very fortunate to still have mine, although it basically stayed in a desk drawer from late 1969 to early 2014, so it didn't have many chances to go missing. 🤓
