I was hesitant at first as I'd never specially ordered a custom sheath, but once I got in touch with David via email (his preferred mode of communication), everything was smooth as silk. He said it was a 2-3 week wait but he actually got it done within a week. Now for someone who is out of USA, this is awesome as we always have to add 2-3 weeks shipping in addition to the finish date that so that means we get it even sooner!
In terms of the fit and finish - it's very good, and I like it. If you need a good kydex sheath done for your CPK field knife (he has one so you don't need to send it your knife), and don't want to worry, consider David Brown.

PS: yes - is drilled for teklok horizontal/vertical, has a nice firm grip, thicker kydex, and a drainage hole (on the other side). The kydex didn't come with a free knife though
