On behalf of us hooligans here, I wanted to thank Ellie (and Guy) for her ongoing communication. I just noticed the production page was updated again with details on the 5 and a specific date for when the 2.7 will be going into production and no longer able to be ordered. This is of course in addition to replying to comments here and emails and all her normal work. Thanks, Ellie!

Nice! These things are moving along well. It looks like some of us might have a chance to pick up another 5 if we're lucky.

Thanks team! To be fair, I am behind on emails right now. But planning to be caught up on those by the end of this weekend.

A 5 as an edc blade. The 5.1 is just a 1/4 inch over legal limit to carry if not hunting camping and such but a 5 is 1/2 under. Hmmmm something to ponder.

Ellie is certainly a gem.

2.7 in camo canvas and tumbled fasteners ordered!!

Oh I can't decide. Should I get. 2.7 or not??? I've got a 3.5 I love and a new 3.5 coming, and the necker II. I'm worried it's a bit small...

And good news about the necker!!

Did you see this thread a few pages back?

The comment that helped seal my decision was about how the necker would be better for EDC and the 2.7 would be better for wood work.

Of course I'd NEVER talk you out of buying a S! knife, it could just come down to your intended use and needs.

Or, just go ahead and get it!

Whoa, well said! That really sums it up

I've been holding off as well. I was afraid I was going to kick myself too hard if I let it pass, so I pulled the trigger. Helps to know that I can flip it in a heartbeat on the exchange. You know...the Survive! No-Risk buying policy :D

Hehe, true, but I'm in Europe so it complicates it a bit. I'll flip a coin and see... ;)

I'm kind of also holding out for that folder...

I've still got a 5 coming (hoping to see that email any day now), a 5.1, and a 4.1...the 4.1 is my Grail GSO, and I will be waiting the longest for it. But isn't that fitting, just like life....the most important things in life are the ones worth waiting for. For example, I've been waiting for years now for my wife to more intimate with me and less physically & emotionally abusive...and one of these days she'll get there, she promises. I'm kidding of course, my wife is a gentle & compassionate sex addict, so it's all good. Back to the knives - Ellie, how is the newest, and I believe third, member of the team coming along in the shop? Do you get the sense that he, along with your new equipment and business strategies, will allow you guys to keep GSOs in stock? If so, approx. how far out is that goal?

I still want to grab a 2.7,4.5,&8 but I think I can only get one more with out having to pay for a divorce as well. So I think I have decided on the 4.5.

The 2.7 is still calling me though and I have only got a little time left.
