Variants are usually the product of Jerry's imagination, although I'm sure he takes input from customers/co-workers from time to time.

He will make you a custom design, but it will cost a bit more ;D

My Groovemaster Variant was a special order, I talked to Jerry about it and he did it

However, I think a large number of the variants are born while Jerry is standing in front of the grinder
