Show and Tell: Your Holiday Haul

I got a SAK climber, the SAS survival guide, beer, port and chocolates.

I gave my sons, amongst other things, a bokken, SAK copies (OK, I'm cheap) books and other assorted goodies.

Its not here yet and I forgot to mention it but my brother got me a playstation portable. Should be here by the end of the week. He has a pretty good job and I guess was feeling generous this year.

I spend a lot of time in the Dr. office due to a blood disease I have and mentioned that I wish I had a way to pass the time. I guess he picked up on it and told me to order one that I wanted.

Not too bad this year considering I didn't even know what I wanted.

My dad talked about building me an evil AR15 but I guess he changed his mind or was not able to track down all the components. It would have been nice but I'm more than happy with my haul.

I have a PSP also. Had it for a while, its a PSP 2000. If you like military games i would recommend getting Socom: Fireteam Bravo ( not the second) If you happen to get it send me a message on here. I've tried the second and the other socoms and they just aren't as good as the first. For racing i'd recommend Need for speed carbon: Own the city. It's very addicting. Get a case ASAP, don't wanna scratch it, it's very easy.

Yeah I'm not a big video game person but I think I will like it since I can use it when I am killing time. I also think it will make car trips more bearable since I can play games and watch movies. I think the Dr. office even has wifi so I can browse the internet as well.

It is supposed to be lightly used (no scratches) and I got it off ebay and it is also a 2000. I have already ordered a better case and a screen protector as well as a car charger.

It should be here on thur or fri and I'm looking forward to it as I like gadgets. Knowing the good games would be nice so I don't have to spend money weeding them out. I like racing and shooting games that are fast paced. Never really liked the long drawn out strategy games.

Socom is very fast paced. I mainly play online as i have beaten every difficulty in the campaign. Very fun. Need for speed is fun also. I have music, videos and pics on mine and downloaded a custom theme to change the icons on the main screen. Love mine.

I picked up 2 Tramontina (I think) camping knives that have a fork and spoon attached that can be removed. There is also a folding knife blade (8cm.) and a corkscrew and a can opener. They are about $30.00 (Reais) here in Brasilia. Now I feel good that if I get stuck somewhere and have to eat, I'm ready to go. Tim

Wish I had some way to show you guys, but Wife bought me two very nice enlarged pictures from a local amateur photographer who is cleaning out his stash. They're in Pueblo right now having frames made...

Wife also bought me a cast iron griddle (she loves french toast). I broke the old antique griddle several years ago by heating only one stove element. :(

Here's the 'big' present from Wife, a Craftsman tool chest. She meant to buy a ball bearing model, but bought this Quiet Glide model instead. I'm going to use it for knife storage.
