Show me something I've never seen before

I have seen knives that fold into a push dagger, but I don't recall if it was that specific one. There aren't too many of them around. Personally, I wonder about the strength of such a locking mechanism. I suppose it's fine, since officially, that's a letter opener, right?

I like eisman's wharncliffe slippie, too. I want to say snakewood or cocobolo. How far off am I?

No, I've never heard of Onta. After I post this, I'm going looking for more.

Yikes! Not only can't I find anything, but the first thing that a search for "onta" comes up with has nothing to do with knives!

Either make sure there are no children in the room, or adjust your search settings, otherwise you'll have some explaining to do...

This one shouldn't be too tough.

Kirby Lambert; I was struggling until I realized the trademark was a spider...

Alright, how about this one

Hmmm. Looks like Mosier's handle style, but not his blade.

Reminds me of a Shane Siebert/David Mosier collaboration. I don't think such a thing exists, and I doubt that either uses pattern welded steel.

I give on this one...

I'll still give you points for seeing Mosiers style in the handle. It's actually a Sean Kendrick Fire Spitter

Ack!
It's OHTA, not oNta.
Haha ewww

If we're still playing, that's Todd Begg. His work is very distinctive.

And expensive. I like his big FB's more than his folders, although there was one back a couple years ago that got my attention. Can't remember the name...

Going back a few posts: Kendrick and Mosier's styles seem to have quite a bit in common. Anybody know if there's an association?

It's a Blackjack folding Mamba aquired from Mike Stewart when he worked at Marble arms. It is well used.
