Here is my assortment of cheap blades from highest to lowest paid:

IMG_20170201_150238698_zpsxh797ubw.jpg

$9.63 CRKT Drifter Large
$8.99 Sanrenmu 7010
$8.16 SAK Tinker
$5.30 S&W Cuttin Horse (turned micro fixed blade)
$4.99 Rough Rider Sowbelly Stockman 5 Blade
$4.56 Defender 9" Fixed Blade (not pictured)
$4.24 Tac-Force 9" Milano
$4.14 Ozark Trail Wood Flipper
$4.14 Ozark Trail Tan Flipper
$2.00 Chinese Peanut Clone

Now let's see yours! Don't be afraid of the knife snobs :)

How's 50 cents for a vintage sabre sak copy made by colonial ( actually a great knife BTW )

I've got a collection of over 50 of sub 10$ gas station specials, but I don't think of them as knives an don't feel like taking pictures of them.

Excellent price on that SAK clone! I understand not caring to share the pile of MTech crap, but the Drifter, 7010, Tinker, and Sowbelly are all worthwhile and a great value for what I paid. Sure I'd trade the whole pile for a Delica, but they aren't useless. Anybody got a quality blade for such a low price?

In have a few great knives that can be had for 10$ or less, but I either got them as gifts or overpaid at my local hardware store.
I do have a nice little RR tiny trapper that's actually a great little knife for 7$

Here's a thread that I started back in September about two TL29s I picked up at a junk shop for $10 combined.

It just so happens, one of them is on my desk as i type this.

Because I didn't use to know any better. The wood flipper tho I actually bought for the scales but the knife actually takes a nice edge (better than the Tac-Force by a mile). The 4 I mentioned before I would still buy if I didn't already have them though. Also, nice Tiny Trapper Hickory! I bet people look at you funny for pulling out that little thing just to pretend they weren't judging as it handles your task. I get that sometimes when I carry micro blades.

In the space below is how many cheap knives I have purchased for under $10.

Zip, Zilch, Zero

I imagine you can snatch some pretty valuable blades at garage sales or antique markets for that price. However, if we're talking NIB, it gets challenging. One that did amaze me (and still does, it's my favorite EDC) is the A.G. Russell WoodsWalker. If I remember well, it was 13 $ with the leather pocker sheath being +10 $ and the Kydex neck sheath being + 15 $. Blade is AUS8A and scales are made from Russells Wood Carta (proprietary Pakkawood, if you ask me). A very fine knife at a ridiculous price. I applied some heavier than expected reprofiling to the blade (hey 15 ° dps, I don't ask for much). Once this was done, it's a blast... and I like big blades, I do, but this small guy won me over.

I thought I had some pictures of my inexpensive knives on this computer, but alas, I don't. I have a lot of cheaper knives, Rough Riders, Colts, Marbles, ect. They all cut like my expensive knives. I find lesser priced knives are fun to collect, carry and if someone shows and interest, give away without any regret. Take a look at these cheaper brands and you'll be surprised by the quality and variety.

Couple of Rough Rider slip joints - small Coke bottle and baby copperhead. I don't have pics of them. Decent little knives.

this guy... sanrenmu a169... got it for 5 bucks. work friendly and the d2 blade came scary sharp

I don't think I've ever gone under $15 or so. Maybe 20 years ago. Nothing has survived to now. The cheapest I own now is probably a $20 Kabar Dozier.

If you bump the limit up to $20, there's a Chinese clone of the ZT 0456 that I prefer to the real thing (a knife that cost me ~$240). The clone is a really well executed G10 linerlock instead of being a titanium framelock like the ZT, and it's very nice as well as being quite a bit lighter. I legitimately prefer the clone by a wide margin, which feels odd to admit.

It makes me wish that ZT would do lighter versions of some of their too-heavy models, either by going G10+linerlock in place of all titanium framelocks, or by milling out the titanium slabs. I own a bunch of their knives, but some models are too heavy to see much pocket time (e.g. the ZT 0456).

I think these are the only two I've bought that are that cheap.

Bought because I didn't have a fixed blade in my collection at all.

Bought that one because I like lockbacks with thumbhole openers, blade length was okay, and it was a combo edge(which I don't think I owned any of when I bought it.)

And I have one of these on my key ring. Not sure that counts though, but it will cut, sorta, kinda.

Well that's not all the <$10 I've gotten these years, but just a sample. Among others, since joining BF all these below cost that much (if you like this stuff, I have lots of it to show. Thanks for the compliment!)
