Show Me The Light

hows the surefire 6p ??

Get a Streamlight Scorpion for starters. Great bang for the buck, simplicity at its finest.
On par with the 6p if I may say so myself.

This is a photo of about 75% of the SureFire's I have (it's an out of date photo).

I've lost count of how many I have...

These are the Light:

Crappy pic, but this is all of them except for a couple of Photon IIs, a Streamlight Septor that I keep in my locker at work, and a Petzl Tikka, which I forgot as it's in my glove compartment.
-Streamlight UltraStinger
-2C Mag with 3x123 adapter/darkzero sputtered reflector/Hotlips C heatsink/Downboy 1000(circuit board, # equals current in mA)/TYOK(bin code for a Luxeon 3 LED)/UCL(UltraClearLens)
-SureFire Z3 with SRTH and N2 LAs
-Streamlight Stinger
-SureFire L4
-SureFire E2e body with modded old style KL1-700mA/TYOK/IMS 17mm reflector
-Longbow Mini with PR head/McR27 reflector/AR coated lens/Wizard2 937/TYOH
-black Aleph 2 with Aleph 1x123 body/trim tailcap(dual output). The light engine is a BadBoy 750 pushing a TYOK
-Nuwai Q3 with 2AA and Pila 168S extensions, TYOK, IMS 20mm reflector, and mineral glass lens
-Longbow Micra with UCL/Wizard2 520/TYOH/IMS 17mm reflector
-HAIII Aleph 2 on a Vital Gear FB1 body. Light engine is a BadBoy 650 pushing a TYOK.
-Dorcy 1AAA with a lowdome Luxeon in place of the stock LED
-Dorcy 1AAA with a MJLED
-CMG Ultra-G
-CMG Ultra-G with a MadMax Lite WO/RYOJ sandwich (in progress)
-Arc AAA-P
-SureFire 6P that went back in its packaging after awhile since I really don't know why I bought it except...it was on sale
The other stuff in the pic is a N1 LA for the 6P so it can be used with the turbohead, a 1x123 extension that fits the L4, E2e, and Aleph bodies, and an E2C that lets the full-size SF heads work on the same bodies.
Went a bit overboard, and really only use the Arc, an Ultra-G, the Alephs and Longbows, and the "Z3T".
This flashlight stuff almost requires learning another language, but it's sooooo fun:D
Like with my knife buying, I'm done. Well past the point where anything new would have any practical value, so other hobbies are getting my attention(and money), right now. After new advances in performace become readily available, I'm sure I'll be right back into both. It's a vicious cycle.

Ok wasnt sure(once again where to put this question. This thread seemed good. I have been out of the loop on flashlights since i got my mini mag that has worked for 6 years. LED? these are bright and work well and last? It sounds like science fiction to me, Point me in the right direction to have these questions answered~ I like this INOVA LED light i saw it was INOVA X5 for 30 bucks, is that a good palce to start or a surefire? And quick responses on color? Should i start with white? I do night hikes and also camping, bird watching where a flash light is needed and also at work and well heck i carry one when it isnt needed anyway...which one for the belt to try out my first LED??
