nice. in my younger days I used to carry just a sharpened paring knife with a cut-down handle taped with hockey tape to give it some thickness and grip :D

we made this on the Illinois river towboat that I worked on. The parts were scavenged from a scrap steel barge. It took about an hour to make, most of that time was cutting off the steel rod attatched to the ball joint that makes up the head. It was taped up for thickness and shoved down into the spring. It was used by my friend out there, a Chicago street gang member, to knock out a hobo that was accosting 2 girls in a Chicago park.

Twelve pages isn't enough? OK, the Randall on top arrived yesterday. That's a 9" blade. The bottom knife is a Ka-Bar 1217 USMC, which is no slouch. But I really wouldn't want to have someone swinging this Randall in my direction.

some plexiglass knuckles that I whipped up. I have some other projects that I whipped up too, but I figure that this is the thread that keeps on giving and I want to see more!
