Show me your custom camp knife/chopper.

I just recently finished this one. It's an 8" blade, .280" thick at the spine and ~2" tall at the belly. Handles are maple with copper pins and lanyard tube. It was forged to profile shape from a leaf spring.

I ended up grinding over 6oz. of steel off post forging. If I make another one, I'm definitely going to try to forge much closer to shape.

I just finished up this β€œlittle” experiment 😊 I was inspired by some shapes I’d seen on some cheap import blades and decided to add a machete style handle to a bolo/Kukri hybrid blade. It’s 15 3/8in overall with a 10 3/8in blade.
