I wish Mcusta would build a frame lock. Even if it were SS on the lock slab and micarta or CF or G-10 on the oppisite. I don't have any issue with any of their knives. I have a African Ebony Damascus I really like. I just believe they would build a beautiful frame lock. ;)

:)

I would pay $250-$300 for a Mcusta framelock... Both sides of the frame from the same damascus

Posted this in another similar thread but my new SAK Huntsman is my new fav folder...

I also would love to see a framelock Mcusta. I'd like one with both slabs ti with a nice inlay on both, possibly ironwood burl or cocobolo. I don't actually have a mcusta yet but I've been eyeing them for months!

Of my 6 folders (Spyderco Tenacious, BM Mini Grip 556, Boker Trance, SOG Mini Vulcan, Ontario Rat-1, Case Sodbuster) I'd actually have to say my favorite knife is the Tenacious. that's right, a $31 knife knocked out my more expensive BM and SOG knives. It's just soooo good for the price!

Do you have any shots of the whole knife rather than small close ups of various spots? Full size pics please and materials, weight, size..ect....:)

What size is that XM-18? What generation and color of scale/s?

My Lionsteel SR-1 wins "my favorite" title these days. I have grown to love it.:D

I love mine as well. How are you liking the Sleipner steel? I am super impressed with it. It is a very wear resistant steel and I think holds an edge better than my S90V. The original grind lines on the secondary edge bevel are still very much there even after using paper wheels to sharpen it. Usually between the grit and polishing wheel it leaves a mirror polish but it has just barely polished up the high spots. I would really like to get some other people with a lot of knife steel experience to give feedback on it and wish that it would show up in some more knives.

Yes although the one I just took makes the knife look dirty...

Based on the American Lawman .1 TI liners, TI backspacer, textured CF scales, hardened 440C rocker bar and .25 pivot, hardened 416 rocker pivot and blade stop pin, and 3.75 long and .2 thick CPM 154 Blade. Considering the heft of the build the knife is fairly light at about 10 OZ And the custom Triad lock is amazing with no blade play and very smooth opening. The spring powering the lock is titanium, and takes about 14 pounds of pressure to overcome it and unlock the knife. Andrew estimates it would hold 600 lbs in a weight hang. This isn't really a review quite yet but more showing off my new favorite blade, you guys should look into these, and the production Cold Steel Versions!
