Show me your massive choppers

Cool Jay, thank you very much. I bookmarked that page, nice to have when using different steels...

Bobber,

I'm keen to try on Vanadis 10.I've also seen amazing things done by Calmax via Kyley Harris.

I tried elmax in one knife, hard steel to work with, have to be hardened in vacuum, and very hard to do the finishing touch on when hardened...
But the knife stays sharp really long and can take abuse then beg for more, lol

I just finished a camp knife for myself. 8 inch blade, out of 1085.

Thanks Jay! I need to work on lateral handle contours, but I'm happy how this one turned out.

Here's a few pics of my GL Drew Chopper, has a Hudson Bay feel to it. At 15 inches long (10' blade) and weighing in at 1lb 5oz's she's a beast!! Gerry killed it with this knife!

pick one ;-) some of them are 12"-13"+;) all ready to be used no wall hangers us made

They all look awesome, but #5 in particular looks awesome -- you replied to a guy who asked about it, and said that it's custom made, but I was wondering if that type of blade design has a name? Like a really wide bowie or something? #24 also looks awesome. Is that also a custom or is it a production knife?
