Show me your Stag!!

I don't know about anyone else (and I know this isn't the forum for it), but I would LOVE to see more pictures of the shotgun.

Since a couple have asked -

David, that is just spectacular! I don't see any markings on it, my guess would be Purdey, Holland & Holland or Arrieta but it's odd that there aren't any markings.

No, Bob Cargill hasn't made any Cripple Creeks since around '96 or so. The new ones you see for sale are just knives with the Cripple Creek logo made by various companies. They are not real Cripple Creeks. Here is some more stag for ya.

That gun is absolute top quality German or Austrian, probably from one of the Prussian guild houses. It is percussion backlock, so probably from 1850's to late 1860's. There is nothing British or Italian about it. Dear Lord, it is beautiful. Don't let that get away without a proper appraisal.

Oops; didn't see the underlever the first time... not percussion, but transition gun with firing pins in the nipples. Sorry about hijacking thread. Couldn't help myself... must... go... get.. handkerchief...

This was given to me by my grandfather who told me it was carried by his great grandfather in the Civil War. I know the blade has been replaced and there are no other markings so I'm assuming the knife it's self is English?? I like the way the stag has held up all these years. I got to get some better pics but here's what I got for now.

The little Case peanut doesn't have much stag but what's there is nice. The Hendrix stag really feels good in the hand.
