Show me your user Case CV knives

Actually, after it gets a good patina going it will stop that. It took mine about 6-12 months if I remember correctly for it to stop. I was using it alot with fruits and meats to get it to patina fast. So it will depend on how you use it.

This one finds it's way into my pocket nearly every day. At first I thought it was to big, but now the other knives seem a little small.

Thanks, Jackknife. I used a dremel on those, 120 Grit sanding bands. Then I just worked my way to 600 grit by hand, gradually smoothing the delrin. Got a better grip and it took under an hour to complete.

I just may have to give that a go. Between the edge scaloping and the groved sheephorn effect, you turned a soddie into a real class act.:thumbup::thumbup:

I like the modifications you did Morablades. Gives `em a new character.

Thanks. I carried it today, did some work in the garden, etc and loved it. I feel like I have something to grab now when my hands get wet.

I'm waiting to find a nice Case beater at a flea market to use for carry. Maybe I should just snag a Home Depot soddie jr.

How did you do the bolsters like that?

Just lay out lines where you want them and use the edge of a marking file or thr corner of a triangle file to get the line started and when your deep enough with that go to a round file. I finished the bolster with 600 grit, and found a piece of bar stock that fit in the groove and wraped it with 600 and finished the inside of the rat tail. Not the only way to do it or maybe not the best, but thats the way I did it.

Sweet CV's all !
